Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TaskShark.io websites, applications, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using TaskShark.io, you agree to these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. The Service

TaskShark.io provides workspace tools for managing tasks, clients, members, calendars, and related collaboration features. We may update, improve, or discontinue parts of the Service over time.

3. Accounts and workspaces

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and within workspaces you administer.
• Workspace owners and admins control member access and are responsible for permissions they grant.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users
• Upload malware or content that infringes others' rights
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service except where permitted by law
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our prior written consent

5. Customer content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to TaskShark.io ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and back up Customer Content solely as needed to provide and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Customer Content and that doing so does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

6. Plans, trials, and billing

TaskShark.io may offer free trials, paid plans, and plan limits (such as seats or workspace features).

We reserve the right to change plan prices, seat fees, billing intervals, and plan features at any time. We may apply those changes before notifying customers. When we notify you (for example by email, in-app notice, or by updating our pricing page), continued use of a paid plan after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

All fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused seats, downgrades, cancellations, unused trial time, or unused Service time, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

• Trials may convert to a paid or limited plan when the trial ends.
• Canceling a subscription stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for amounts already paid.
• You are responsible for applicable taxes and for keeping billing details accurate when required.
• Price changes do not affect charges already processed for the current billing period unless we state otherwise.

7. Intellectual property

TaskShark.io and its logos, software, design, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our brand or intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaskShark.io and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or €100 if you have not paid any fees.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using TaskShark.io at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete or disable access to Customer Content according to our retention practices.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
